Petrolio UK are currently recruiting for a HIPPS Engineer for one of our major UK clients who are a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
This is a permanent role (Contractors will not be considered) paying an annual salary of ŁNEG + p/a + benefits!
Location – Egham, Surrey, UK
A HIPPS engineer is needed to support the WND project. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the mechanical and electric/electronic parts of the HIPP System are designed, qualified, and certified as a complete system.
Principal duties :
-Organise and Manage all HIPPS related activities with both the controls and the valve suppliers
-Ensures design consistency and product quality
-Ensures all applicable standards are met
-Acts as a SPOC between external and internal clients
-Supports the systems/project team as well as the package engineers on HIPPS related subjects
Qualifications / Experience: (education, professional designations)
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical Engineering and 7 years related experience. Prior experience should involve subsea projects with HIPP Systems.
