Petrolio UK are currently recruiting for a Engineering Planner one of our major UK clients who are a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
This is a permanent role.
Location – Sunbury, Surrey, UK
General Responsibilities:
High level Role: Engineering Planner will work in affiliation with the Engineering Managers and Project group to ensure clear understanding of engineering capacity.
Responsibilities:-
•Be a liaison between Engineering and Project, Proposals, and Manufacturing teams to align the Engineering capacity changes
•Run schedules and creates discipline manpower capacity curves bimonthly
•Manage and report on Engineering KPIs (including OTD for pre-release schedule)
•Lead meetings among regional Engineering teams to identify and align resources as needed
•Super user for systems such as Project Systems and EWR and charging hours to work centers
•Communicates the KPIs to senior management
•Forecast rolling intermediate and long-term resource requirements
•Manages and enhances the reporting format and metrics for key performance indicators
•Creates EWRs on a daily basis with the help of Engineering Managers
•Train Engineering managers or Engineers in the required tool or process
•Maintain and update Engineering project plans to ensure proper sequence of execution
•Complies with all clients Process Solution's operating guidelines and standards
•Update weekly the Engineering hours in Primavera for both Projects & Proposals for Project Schedulers
Experience/Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years experience in Planning & Scheduling function
•SAP experience, preferably in planning and scheduling
•Primavera P6 experience is preferred
•Analytic skills preferred
•Knowledge of scheduling concepts and of Engineering functions
•Leadership capability and excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve goals
•Expert communicator within matrix organizations
